Who we are
Chapel Street Group is a communications consultancy based in London. We are responsible for the personal data described in this notice. If you have any questions about it, email adam@chapelstreet.co.
What we collect
- When you contact us. Your name, contact details and anything you choose to tell us when you email or call us.
- When we work together. Names, job titles and contact details of the people we work with at clients, partners and suppliers, and the information needed to deliver and manage our work.
- Clients of our intelligence service. The details needed to give named users access to their account.
- When you visit this website. Technical information such as your IP address, browser, device and the pages you view. This is collected by Squarespace, which hosts our website, to keep the site secure and working and to give us visitor statistics.
How we use it
We use personal data to reply to enquiries, deliver and manage our work, keep proper business records, meet our legal obligations and understand how our website is used. We do not sell personal data, and we do not use it for automated decision-making.
Under UK data protection law, we rely on our legitimate interests in running our business and responding to people who contact us; on the performance of a contract where we work with you; on legal obligations for records we must keep; and on your consent for non-essential cookies.
Who we share it with
We share personal data only with the service providers that help us run our business, such as website hosting, email and IT providers, and with our professional advisers, or where the law requires it. Some providers process data outside the UK. Where they do, we rely on the safeguards UK law provides for international transfers.
How long we keep it
We keep personal data only for as long as we need it for the purposes above, including any period the law requires us to keep business records.
Your rights
You can ask to see the personal data we hold about you, and ask us to correct, delete or restrict it, to stop using it, or to transfer it. Where we rely on your consent, you can withdraw it at any time. To make a request, email adam@chapelstreet.co.
If you are unhappy with how we have handled your data, you can complain to the Information Commissioner's Office at ico.org.uk. We would welcome the chance to put things right first.
Cookies
Cookies are small files stored on your device when you visit a website. Squarespace, which hosts this site, sets:
- Essential cookies, which the site needs to work securely. These cannot be switched off.
- Analytics cookies, which tell us how many people visit and which pages they view. We use these only if you accept them.
You can accept or decline non-essential cookies using the banner when you first visit, and change your choice at any time in your browser settings. Blocking essential cookies may stop parts of the site working.
